I just joined my first quilt-a-long. YEA!!!!! Crazy Mom Quilts has another tutorial. I have always wanted to participate. It is a nine patch quilt and I already have the squares needed. Remember the yo yo quilt I started almost 2 years ago??? Well, let's face it I will never ever finish the quilt. I only have maybe 100 yo yos made so I think it will a pillow sham???? The squares for the quilt are supposed to be 2 1/2 inches but I am adapting it for my 3 1/2 inch squares. I think it will be awesome. I love the reproduction fabrics. All that I need to get is white fabric for the sashing.
Look at this hot mess. Like a science experiment gone horribly wrong. No, I had this urge last week to make some Amish Friendship bread. Here is my starter. Of course, I then decided to do South Beach and so no sugar for 2 weeks. Want bad. I stuck the starter in the freezer and in a few weeks will make a batch and take it into school so I can just have one little tiny piece.
Remember this tea that I bought at your Walmart? I am getting low. Sadness. Have you bought any yet? I miss your Walmart. It is the best. You would think that here in Hawaii with the large Asian population, more tea choices would be available. But no. When I visit this summer I will stock up on the larger size boxes. It is so fantastic. Strong but never bitter.
Well, it is 8pm. I had pilates until 6:30. Need to do laundry, make lunch, clean up after dinner. Blah Blah Blah. Talk to you soon!
